Logitech Chorus Open Headphones Slip On Quest2

Logitech has announced Chorus, a $99 audio accessory designed to enhance the sound quality coming from the Meta Quest 2 VR headset. The appeal of the Chorus, as opposed to using over-ear or in-ear headphones that you already have, is that they allow you to be more present in reality thanks to their open, out-of-ear speakers like Valve Index.

Chorus connects to your Meta Quest 2 via a USB-C cable. And it has a second USB-C port for pass-through charging. Unfortunately this additional USB-C port is not compatible with Oculus Link. It is only for charging your headset when using the Logitech Chorus.

If the Logitech Chorus sounds familiar to you, it’s because you’ve seen it before. Both Index valves and the HP Reverb G2 headsets use similar “floating” drivers. Logitech just took this speaker design and turned it into an add-on for the Meta Quest 2.

The Logitech Chorus looks like it belongs in the Meta Quest 2 headset. It doesn’t look like an add-on. The speaker slots into each side of the Meta Quest 2 headset and rotates into place. You control speaker volume using Meta Quest 2’s built-in controls, although you can also mute Chrous by turning each speaker away from your ears.
