Lenovo Introduced A Robot Dog With Six Legs

The well-known company Lenovo entered the robotics market for the first time and presented its debut robot dog named Daystar Bot GS. The main feature of the machine is its six paws (three on each side).

The iF Design 2024 competition website doesn’t give too many details about Lenovo’s design: “[The robot’s] innovative six-legged design ensures unrivaled stability and agility beyond traditional robotic platforms, allowing it to navigate a variety of terrain with ease.” Note that the first generation Daystar robot was equipped with wheels.

With an advanced control system, advanced perception algorithms and reliable IP66 protection, GS outperforms other robots in unforeseen use cases, and is ready to provide comprehensive data collection anywhere, anytime,” further follows from the description of the new product.

Lenovo Daystar Bot GS will be released during 2024. The company will announce prices closer to the start of sales.
