Konami Finally Revealed The Release Date For Silent Hill 2 Remake

Konami released several videos from the Silent Hill 2 remake: a new trailer, a large gameplay excerpt, and a story about development. In addition, the company revealed the release date and opened pre-orders.

As it became known, Silent Hill 2 will go on sale on October 8 this year for Steam and PS5. The announcement was accompanied by a two-minute gameplay trailer.

The nearly 14-minute gameplay trailer for the remake, which debuted on Silent Hill Transmission, pleasantly surprised viewers after the game’s February demo.

Gamers noted the prettier main character compared to earlier shows (Angela’s design from the release date trailer raised questions), the acting and the sounds of gunfire. There were also no QTEs seen in the video.
