iPhone Alarms Stopped Working

Several iPhone users have encountered problems with their smartphones: their alarm clocks have proven to be useless. Apple has confirmed the problem and announced that it is actively working to resolve it. At the same time, Apple did not specify what exactly causes the alarm clock to malfunction on the iPhone, nor did it say how long it will take to resolve the problem and whether there are any workarounds that users could use now to normalize the alarm clock.

Some iPhone users attribute alarm problems to the Attention Aware feature, which first appeared in the iPhone X. This feature uses the TrueDepth camera on the front of the iPhone to track the user’s facial position. For example, if a user is looking at a smartphone during an alert, Attention Aware detects that the device is in their hand and automatically reduces the volume of the alarm.
