Google Will Add A Chatbot With Artificial Intelligence To The Search Engine
Google is planning to add conversational AI features to its search engine. “Will people be able to ask search engine questions and interact with large language models in the search context? Absolutely,” CEO Sundar Pichai told The Wall Street Journal.
In addition, Google is developing an update codenamed Magi for the existing search engine. One of the new features is a chatbot for developers that can write code. The company has also experimented with a feature that allows people to search for music through a chatbot.
Google attracted 160 employees to update the search engine. It is likely that Magi will be presented at the Google I / O 2023 conference in May this year. The company plans to offer Magi’s features to one million people in the US before expanding availability to 30 million users by the end of the year.
