Gemini Now Available To iPhone Owners
Google’s Gemini chatbot, which became available to Android users last week, can now be used by iPhone owners.
There’s no separate Gemini app for iPhone owners, but you can now activate the chatbot at the top of the main Google app. With the choice of a new AI assistant, the interface of the entire application changes – a large field for entering queries appears at the bottom. To ask a request by voice, you need to press the button with the image of a microphone; sending is also done by pressing a separate button. Answers are not spoken automatically; to do this, you need to tap the speaker icon.
When you interact with Gemini on iOS, you can use text, voice, send images, and open the camera in the app. AI summarizes complex topics, generates code, writes text such as thank you notes and emails, creates images, and more.
According to yet unconfirmed information, Apple is also working on new AI features for the iPhone, and they may debut with the release of iOS 18.
