Garmin has unveiled the Enduro 4 smartwatch, featuring exceptional battery life: the device can run for up to 36 days on a single charge with standard use, and up to 90 days with sufficient sunlight.

The new Garmin smartwatch incorporates several features borrowed from the Fenix 9. When tackling inclines, target training metrics can account for grade-adjusted pace. Current grade-adjusted pace is displayed as a dynamic, real-time value. Changes in energy reserves are tracked during the activity, and an endurance curve visualizes how stamina levels fluctuated throughout the workout. Using Garmin Connect, activities can be grouped by day, week, or month.

For rowing activities, the watch includes a VO2 max estimation feature and the ability to generate an endurance curve for indoor training. For rucking, users can adjust the pack weight during the activity and track specific metrics, such as calorie expenditure.

It is also worth noting that the developers equipped the smartwatch with 64 GB of storage and an LED flashlight featuring both white and red light modes. The Enduro 4 weighs 66 g and comes in a case rated for 10 ATM water resistance. It features a ComfortFit fabric band with a QuickFit attachment mechanism—a new addition to the Enduro lineup.

Built-in solar panels extend battery life. Garmin claims virtually unlimited autonomy in specific power-saving modes—Expedition and Battery Saver—though this is only achievable with regular exposure to sufficient sunlight. Even with continuous workout tracking, the watch can run for up to 144 hours, or about six days. Sales begin on October 9, 2026, with a price tag of $900.
