Garmin Introduces Lily 2 Active Smartwatch
The line of miniature smart watches Lily 2 has been expanded with a new sports model Active with a built-in GPS module. The watch has received two additional buttons and has learned to support even more types of training.
The presence of a built-in GPS receiver is the most important improvement. Now users will be able to more accurately track their movements during various sports, such as running or cycling. A pair of mechanical buttons on the side of the case is also a nice addition, since interacting with the device via a touchscreen is not very convenient.
In addition, Garmin promises up to nine days of battery life, which is almost double that of the Lily 2. The significant increase in battery life puts the Lily 2 Active almost on par with the $1,000 Garmin Epix Pro Sapphire Edition smartwatch. The new product also received several sports features that the Lily 2 does not have. For example, the watch comes with pre-installed apps for tracking activity while playing tennis, golf, and more. The Garmin Coach app is supported, which, among other things, opens access to free adaptive training plans from experienced instructors.
The watch comes in three colors: Lunar Gold, Jasper Green, and silver. The latter comes with a lilac strap.
Price: $300.
