Apple TV+ Shares “Foundation” Season 2 Teaser And Announces Premiere Date
Apple TV+ has released a teaser for the second season of Foundation, based on Isaac Asimov’s sci-fi novels. The premiere is scheduled for July 14th.
The action of the second season will develop a century after the finale of the first. The sequel will show the fall of the Cleon empire and the discovery of a colony of people with psi-powers.
The show’s first season follows mathematician Hari Seldon as he comes up with a formula that perfectly predicts the end of the Galactic Empire and the destruction of human society. In order to preserve knowledge and ensure prosperity in the future, he creates a group of rebels who challenge the empire.
The series stars Lou Llobell, Jared Harris (Chernobyl) and Lee Pace (Stop and Catch Fire). The show also starred Kulvinder Gere (“Party King 2”), Ella-Rae Smith (“The Stranger”), Holt McCallany (“Mindhunter”), Nimrat Kaur (“Homeland”) and others.
