Apple Introduces iPad Pro With Dual OLED Displays

Apple has announced a new iPad Pro model based on the company’s advanced technologies. Information about the product appeared on the official Apple website.

The company positions it as a device on which various neural networks can operate.

Each of the new products uses a double OLED panel, which Apple itself calls Tandem OLED. In fact, these are two panels with organic LEDs superimposed on each other. The display, which Apple itself calls Ultra Retina XDR, delivers an outstanding brightness of 1000 cd/m2 for a tablet and a peak brightness of 1600 cd/m2 for HDR content. Apple is also offering nanotexture anti-reflective glass for the first time on the iPad Pro, but as an option that costs extra.

Apple has equipped the iPad Pro with the most modern processor – the M4 chip introduced today, made using TSMC’s second-generation 3nm process technology. Apple claims this 10-core processor is 50% faster than the M2 chip found in the previous generation iPad Pro.

The cost of an iPad Pro with a 13-inch diagonal is $1,299 and the price of a model with a diagonal of 11 inches is $999. The start of sales is scheduled for May 15.
