Android 14 Introduces A Wallpaper AI Generator

The Android 14 mobile operating system was released, which has many new features, including a wallpaper generator based on AI.

This feature was first announced at the Google I/O event in May of this year. Interaction with the wallpaper generator begins with selecting a category, for example, classical art, after which you need to set the required parameters and the algorithm will present several image options based on them. In one of Google’s examples, the Dreamscape category is selected, and then the texture, material, and color options are noted. Ultimately, the query “House of indigo plants” is generated, after processing which the algorithm produces several images of buildings covered with plants with an entrance door and a purple tint.

Owners of the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro smartphones will be the first to experience the wallpaper generation function.
