Amazon Launched A Series About The Collapse Of The FTX Crypto Exchange
The series will consist of eight episodes and will be produced by the brothers’ production company ABGO. The directors intend to independently stage several episodes and engage in general production of the project.
The pilot episode will be written by David Weil (Hunters, The Twilight Zone). Directed by Anthony and Joseph Russo (Avengers: Endgame, Avengers: Infinity War). The Russo brothers have also been in talks to join the project with some of the actors they know from The Avengers. According to sources, the plot will be based on “insider reporting” by journalists who covered the events around FTX and its founder Sam Bankman-Freed. Amazon expects the eight-episode series to release in the spring of 2023.
FTX appeared in 2019. Over the years, the crypto-exchange has managed to become one of the most reputable, well-known and largest on the market. However, at the beginning of November 2022, its management declared bankruptcy. The media reported on the misuse of client funds and investigations.
