Amazon Confirms It’s Working On Warhammer 40,000 MCU With Henry Cavill 

Amazon Studios has officially confirmed that it has acquired the global rights to the Warhammer 40,000 franchise, and at the same time has attracted a fan of the universe, Henry Cavill, to this case. The former Witcher and Superman will serve as an executive producer on all content released by Amazon Studios.

It is reported that the company’s license includes films, series, games and animation. Amazon Studios, MGM, Vertigo Entertainment and Games Workshop will take part in the work.

When Amazon will begin full-fledged production is still unclear. No writers, directors, or showrunners have yet been brought in to work.

Cavill later posted a short teaser on social media and addressed fans of the franchise, assuring them that he would respect the universe and try to create “something amazing and never seen before.” He ended his address with the words “For the Emperor!”
