Age Of Empires 4 And Age Of Empires 2 Remaster Coming To Xbox Consoles
During a celebratory broadcast in honor of the 25th anniversary of the franchise, Microsoft officially confirmed that the series will also appear on consoles.
Age of Empires 2 Definitive Edition will release on January 23, 2023, while Age of Empires 4 does not yet have an exact release date.
Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition was released on PC in 2019 and is a remaster of the 1999 game with improved graphics, 4K support and all previously released add-ons.
Age of Empires IV: Anniversary Edition has already been confirmed to release on 25th of November on Steam and the Microsoft Store. This new version includes the base game, all expansions released so far, and an anniversary update containing two new civilizations: Ottoman and Malian. Owners of the game can get the Anniversary Update for free.
