G.Skill Introduces World’s Fastest DDR5-6000 Memory
G.Skill has announced DDR5 memory with super-low timings. The G.Skill Trident Z5 Neo RGB, M5 RGB Neo, and Z5 Royal Neo series are now available in DDR5-6000 CL26-36-36-96 configurations in 32GB and 64GB kits, and CL28-36-36-96 configurations in 48GB and 96GB kits.
CL26-36-36-96 are the minimum timings among all memory kits available from G.Skill. Moreover, the 64 GB kit (2 x 32 GB), as the manufacturer claims, is the first on the market to offer such timings for such a memory capacity. The company demonstrated stable operation of the kit with MemtestPro 4.0 on a machine with an AMD Ryzen 9 9900X processor and an Asus Crosshair X870E Hero motherboard. G.Skill successfully conducted the same test with a 96 GB kit in the CL-28-36-36-96 configuration with the same processor and motherboard. The kits are aimed at gaming enthusiasts and power users who want the best timings at 6000 MT/s for DDR5.
Pricing for the G.Skill Trident Z5 Neo RGB and other new models hasn’t been revealed, but it’s easy to guess that they’ll likely be among the most expensive on the market. Timings have a significant impact on DDR5 prices: DDR5-6000 CL 28 2x16GB kits cost between $120 and $130, while CL30 kits in the same configuration can be had for under $80.
