Google Introduces Its First Children’s Smart Watch Fitbit Ace LTE
Google has introduced a new addition to the Fitbit line of wearable electronics – the Fitbit Ace LTE children’s smartwatch. The watch is based on the Wear OS platform and is designed to encourage children from 7 years old to lead a healthy lifestyle in a playful way. Another feature is useful functions for parents.
Ace LTE received a square body, reminiscent of the Fitbit Versa. The main difference is in the materials: plastic and Corning Gorilla Glass, plus an additional bumper instead of sapphire glass and titanium. The Ace LTE sensor array is almost identical to the Pixel Watch 2. The charger is also compatible with the Pixel Watch 2.
Fitbit Ace LTE combines kids’ mobility with their love of games: the more they move, the more time they can spend playing games on the watch. Each pre-installed game is designed specifically for the device, and new games will be released every few months. Ace LTE recognizes and rewards all types of physical activity, be it playing hide and seek, jumping on the bed or dancing. The Noodle application located on the main screen takes into account every movement and effectively informs about the child’s achievement of the next goal.
Like any other children’s tracker, Ace LTE is resistant to drops and splashes. The screen is covered with durable Gorilla Glass, and the watch can be submerged in water up to 164 feet deep.
At launch, you can purchase two editions of Ace LTE, differing in strap: Mild with a Strange Arcade strap or Spicy with a Moovin’ strap.
