Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis, the remake-reimagining of the first Tomb Raider, will not be released in 2026, as previously reported.
It has indeed been delayed to February 12, 2027. Furthermore, the Nintendo Switch 2 has been added to the list of announced platforms—PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X.
Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis is being billed as a “stunning reimagining” of the 1996 game. A new trailer gives fans of the series a glimpse of what the familiar locations from the 30-year-old action game will look like, along with the reimagined gameplay mechanics.
The remake of the original Tomb Raider, powered by Unreal Engine 5, is now available for pre-order for $60. Pre-purchasing the standard edition will grant gamers a unique skin for the main character. Deluxe Edition owners are also guaranteed 48-hour access before release, the Parisian Fugitive skin, and a short story content pack.
Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis will be available in three editions with pre-order bonuses now available.
