Realme unveiled the Realme 16T smartphone, the first model since the merger of the Realme and OnePlus brands. The new model combines a high-capacity battery and a ruggedized design (MIL-STD-810H, IP69K), yet is priced at a relatively low $295 for the 6GB/128GB version. The top-of-the-line 8GB/256GB version costs $365.
The Realme 16T’s key feature is its 8,000 mAh battery, capable of providing up to three days of battery life and a total lifespan of up to seven years. It supports 45W direct charging and 15W reverse charging, acting as an external power source. This allows the device to be powered directly from the mains, bypassing the battery.
The Realme 16T’s main camera is equipped with a 50-megapixel Sony IMX852 sensor and supports a variety of additional features. The AI-powered Portrait Glow feature “analyzes the lighting around objects and applies additional lighting effects to enhance their brightness.” Flash, Studio Light, Natural Light, and Rim Light modes are supported.

LumaColor IMAGE technology helps deliver “realistic skin tones” in photos. It also features Aura Flash and a selfie mirror. The main camera is paired with a 2-megapixel monochrome camera. The Aurora Green color variant of the Realme 16T features a Gleaming Wings finish on the back cover.

The Realme 16T is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chip and up to 8GB of RAM. It runs Realme UI 7.0, but the manufacturer hasn’t specified support dates.
The smartphone runs on Android 16 with realme UI 7.0 and is available in three colors: green, black, and red.
