Sony announced a 27-inch gaming monitor designed specifically for PlayStation 5 consoles, but also compatible with any PC and other devices. A notable feature of the device is its built-in charging station for the DualSense wireless controller.

The new 27-inch monitor delivers Quad HD (2560×1440) on an IPS panel, HDR with automatic tone mapping, VRR, and a refresh rate of up to 120Hz on PS5 and PS5 Pro, and up to 240Hz on compatible PCs and Macs. A built-in charging hook allows for convenient charging of the DualSense or DualSense Edge (sold separately).

The monitor supports VESA mounting and offers extensive connectivity options: two HDMI 2.1 ports and one DisplayPort 1.4 port, two USB-A ports and one USB-C port for PlayStation Link and other devices, built-in stereo speakers, and a 3.5mm audio output.

The monitor pairs with the recently announced Pulse Elevate wireless speakers, delivering immersive audio and voice chat. These products are designed for a complete tabletop gaming experience on PS5.

The company plans to release a 27-inch gaming monitor with charging for DualSense controllers in 2026. Currently, this is limited to the US and Japanese markets. Sony has promised to share more information about the monitor in the coming months.
