LG updates its K series smartphones

Today LG announced a trio of new smartphones in its K series of mid-rangers. K61, K51S, and K41S offer quad main cameras, 6.5” displays with punch holes for their front cameras and a large capacity battery of 4000 mAh. Apart from that those also are MIL-STD 810G complied for durability, offer USB-C ports and a fingerprint scanner on the back.

K61 is LG’s first phone that uses a 48MP sensor, that’s coupled with 8MP Super Wide, 2MP Macro and 5MP Depth Sensors. K61 offers a 2.3 GHz Octa-Core chipset, 4GB RAM, 64/128GB expandable memory, 16MP front camera and a 6.5” display with FHD+ resolution and 19.5:9 aspect ratio.

LG K51S has a taller 20:9 display but with a lower HD+ resolution. The rear camera consists of a 32MP main camera, a 5MP ultrawide and two 2MP sensors – macro and a depth sensor. The selfie cam is 13MP. Then we have 3GB RAM and 64GB of expandable storage.

The basic model is LG K41S and that one uses the same 6.5-inch 20:9 HD+ FullVision display as the K51S. Its quad-camera includes a 13MP main, 5MP ultrawide and the same 2MP macro and depth sensors. The selfie camera here is 8MP. Here we can find 3GB of RAM and 32GB of expandable storage.

LG’s 2020 K series will be available starting in the second quarter in the Americas followed by key select markets in Europe and Asia.
