LG Electronics has introduced a new model in its premium TV lineup, the LG Magnit Active Micro LED, featuring an impressive 136-inch diagonal.
This new model combines advanced display technologies, a high refresh rate, and a powerful audio system.
The developers equipped the Magnit Active Micro LED with a 136-inch panel supporting a resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels. It features Active Matrix Micro LED technology, which allows each LED to be independently controlled. This approach improves detail, contrast, and color reproduction compared to panels using Passive Matrix technology.
The panel offers a 1,000,000:1 contrast ratio and supports Dolby Vision technology. A special matte coating reduces glare, improving black levels and minimizing the impact of ambient light on picture quality.

LG’s proprietary Alpha 9 Gen6 AI processor handles image processing.
The software platform used is LG webOS, which provides access to the LG Channels service, various applications, and LG Gallery+ for displaying works of art or thematic content.
The LG Magnit Active Micro LED will go on sale in South Korea on October 21, 2025, and will be available in North America later. Pricing has not yet been disclosed, but given its premium segment and advanced technology, it could compete with top-of-the-line Samsung The Wall and Sony Crystal LED systems, which cost several hundred thousand dollars.
