Twitter Podcasts is Now Available Via Twitter Blue
Twitter, a microblogging site, has announced that subscribers of the Blue platform can now access the Spaces update with podcasts.
The platform said the new feature is currently being rolled out to iOS users and will be coming soon to Android users.
It will be on the same button as the Spaces feature, and here users can access live audio rooms, multi-author podcast episodes, themed audio stations, and recorded Spaces content.
However, Twitter doesn’t want to replace dedicated podcast apps. Instead, it aims to make it easier for users to find podcasts they might like.
“If someone regularly interacts with Vox content on Twitter, they will likely see the Vox podcast on the Spaces hub,” the company said last month. Users can also view podcasts organized by topic, and like or dislike podcasts to tell Twitter more about their interests. The app will hide content you don’t like and show more of what you like.
