The First Teaser Of The Film Adaptation Of “Twisted Metal” Has Been Released

Peacock online cinema in collaboration with PlayStation Productions has presented the first teaser trailer for the series based on the video game Twisted Metal. The video has been posted on YouTube.

A one-minute teaser trailer showing Anthony Mackie’s character driving a machine gun-equipped Subaru and the killer clown Sweet Tooth in his ice cream van.

In the story, John Doe, played by Maki, who has lost his memory, must deliver a mysterious package through a post-apocalyptic wasteland full of marauders in cars (including that clown).

The series Twisted Metal is positioned as an action comedy in the spirit of “Welcome to Zombieland”. The story is based on a script by Michael Jonathan Smith, showrunner and executive producer.

The Twisted Metal series is scheduled to premiere on July 27, 2023. Previously, the authors showed the first poster of the film adaptation.
