Pebble is preparing to release a new watch, the Round 2, an updated version of the Pebble smartwatch with a circular display. The watch offers basic health and activity tracking, such as step count, but lacks a heart rate monitor and other fitness-related features. However, due to its reduced features, the watch boasts a battery life of up to 14 days on a single charge.
The Round 2 features a stainless steel case, an accelerometer, and a magnetometer, and comes with a silicone strap and a Pebble charger. Leather straps will be sold separately.

Three watch colors are available, each supporting different strap sizes. The matte black version comes with a quick-release 20mm strap; the silver version supports 14mm or 20mm straps; and the rose gold version only supports a 14mm strap.
The Pebble Round 2 runs thousands of apps and watch faces available in the Pebble Appstore, although developers will need to update their apps to support the rounded screen using the provided SDK. Available services include AI assistants like Claude and other popular assistants.

Like other Pebble devices, the new watch is available for $199. Pre-orders are available on the official website starting January 2, with first shipments scheduled for May. A silicone strap is included, but leather versions will be sold separately.
