Microsoft Is Testing Circle To Copilot Feature On iOS And Windows 11
The American corporation Microsoft is testing a new feature, Circle to Copilot, which will allow you to search for information from a specific area of the screen using AI. The new Copilot feature is reminiscent of Google’s similar Circle to Search feature, which the company launched in January 2024.
Circle to Copilot allows you to search information from a specified area of the screen using artificial intelligence. When the function is activated, you can circle any part of the screen, after which it will be loaded into Copilot.
To use this feature on iOS, you need to enable the experimental Edge image circle Copilot flag by entering edge://flags in the browser’s address bar and searching for Copilot, then restart the browser. Circle to Copilot is enabled by holding down the Copilot button in Edge – the browser will take a screenshot of the screen and load it into a new page where you can specify a specific area to search. Copilot doesn’t currently have the ability to extract text from screenshots, but this feature will likely appear in the future.
