Meta Is Developing A Device That Allows You To Control The Power Of Thought

Meta, led by CEO Mark Zuckerberg, is working on a smart band that can interpret brain signals to control devices. Unlike Elon Musk’s Neuralink, which relies on brain implants, Meta’s technology is being developed to be non-invasive. 

Zuckerberg shared the latest achievements in this area during an interview on YouTube with technology entrepreneur Roberto Nickson. Zuckerberg explained that the smart bracelet the company is developing will use electromyography (EMG) to interpret neural signals sent from the brain to the hand and translate them into commands for the device.

The head of Meta stated the great potential of this technology, noting that, despite the achievements, the company is still at the beginning of its journey, since it has not yet released the first version of the device.

While the head of Meta expressed optimism about the potential of the development and technology, he also mentioned the possibility of integrating this technology with Ray-Ban augmented reality smart glasses created by Meta in collaboration with the eyewear brand.
