DJI Air 3 Is Announced: Two 48-Megapixel Cameras Drone

DJI introduced the Air 3 — the copter received an updated shooting system and improved flight specifications compared to its predecessor, the DJI Air 2S model.

One of the new cameras is the same as the Mini 3 Pro – with an equivalent focal length of 24 mm and f / 1.7 aperture, the second is equipped with a telephoto lens with f / 2.8 aperture and an equivalent focal length of 70 mm and 3x  same magnification as the Mavic 3 Pro.

The cameras feature Slow Motion for 4K slow motion at up to 100fps, 4K HDR at up to 60fps, and Full HD at up to 200fps. It also supports 2.7K vertical video without cropping at up to 60 frames per second.

The drone weighing 720g is equipped with a 4241mAh battery, providing a maximum flight time of 46 minutes. For comparison, the Air 2S has 31 minutes.

DJI Air 3 supports the latest generation of OcuSync O4 communication protocol, which allows you to transmit video in 1080p at 60 frames per second over a distance of 20 km in a low-interference environment with live broadcast. This is twice the range of video transmission using the O3+ communication protocol used by the Mavic 3 and Mini 3 Pro series of drones.

The DJI Air 3 with DJI RC-N2 controller is priced at $1099. The Fly More Combo with the same RC-N2 controller will cost $1349. The Fly More Combo with an RC 2 controller with built-in screen costs $1549.
