Apple Is Giving Away A Vision Pro Headset To App Developers

Apple has begun accepting applications on its website from developers who want to get a Vision Pro mixed reality headset to create and test applications.

Developer Kits include the Apple Vision Pro headset, which must be returned to Apple at the end of the program or at the company’s request, as well as technical support and advice on application design and development from Apple experts.

Apple’s website lists the steps that developers can follow to get their devkit. It is important to note that the company does not give the device as a gift, but lends it, so it should be handled with care and used properly.

Submit a request for the Vision Pro Developer Kit. You need to be an account holder of the Apple Developer Program, provide details of your team’s skills, apps already released, and agree to the terms of the agreement. Applications will be considered and priority will be given to those applicants who are already actively developing software that takes advantage of the features and capabilities of visionOS,” Apple said.

In addition to the Vision Pro devkit itself, approved developers will also be provided with initial device setup assistance and advice from Apple experts on the headset’s user interface. In addition, each application developer who has access to the Vision Pro devkit will be given the opportunity to twice seek advice from Apple on coding and solving related problems.
