ChatGPT To Be Introduced Into The Educational Process At Arizona State University
OpenAI has begun a collaboration with Arizona State University. The result of the collaboration should be the involvement of the ChatGPT chatbot in teaching students. The university will use the advanced features of ChatGPT Enterprise Edition to improve the teaching experience.
“Our faculty and staff were already using ChatGPT, and with the launch of ChatGPT Enterprise, which helped us overcome some of the security issues, we decided it made sense to go with OpenAI,” Kyle Bowen, the university’s associate director of information technology, told The Verge. He added that faculty with experience in artificial intelligence will help with its implementation on campus.
In February, Arizona State University will begin accepting applications for plans to use ChatGPT—some professors are already using the platform in classes. For example, it is used in a journalism course, and in some cases, a chatbot can act as a mentor for students.
For OpenAI, this is the first partnership project with an educational institution. The company is now establishing relationships with organizations.
