Asgard’s Wrath 2 Is Meta’s Most Ambitious VR Game Yet
At the presentation, Meta showed footage of the gameplay of the sequel to Asgard’s Wrath, an adventure role-playing AAA action game, which was well received by users. The developers promise a 60-hour campaign with a roguelite dungeon mode, and in the trailer you can see sword fighting, ax throwing, puzzles, mini-games and even fishing.
It has many of the elements you’d expect from a modern RPG, from crafting, mini-games and extensive exploration to gear and weapon upgrades and enemies that get stronger with you. Both you and your animal friends have skill trees to level up. Just like in the first game, you will be able to manipulate the world with cosmic forces. Elemental weapons should provide more enemy variety and customization, while you can possess mortals to use their skills and abilities to help them fulfill their destiny.
While many players will be looking to in-game on Quest 2, the Meta Quest 3 revealed today will be available by the time Asgard’s Wrath 2 launches. Attractions will feel more comfortable for over 60 hours of gameplay,” said a Meta spokesperson.
Asgard’s Wrath 2 for Quest headsets is slated to launch in Winter 2023.
