AAEON Introduces EPIC-RPS7 Industrial Single-Board Computer
AAEON has announced the EPIC-RPS7 single-board computer based on the Intel hardware platform. The device is designed for industrial applications: it can be used for remote monitoring of equipment, automation, industrial control, etc.
The board case provides two SATA-3 ports and an M.2 2280 M-Key slot (PCIe 3.0 x4) for SSD, as well as an M.2 2230 E-Key connector (PCIe 3.0 x1 + USB 2.0) for the Wi-Fi module. There is a Nano SIM slot for connecting a 4G/5G modem and Mini Card/mSATA slots. Network interfaces are represented by Intel I226 (2.5 GbE) and I219 (1 GbE) controllers.

For peripherals, there are two USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-A ports, two USB 3.2 Gen1 Type-A, and three interfaces at once for video output: DisplayPort 1.2 (4K @ 60 Hz), D-Sub (1080p) and LVDS. Four COM ports (two RS-232/422/485 and two RS-232) allow you to connect a variety of industrial equipment.
The operating temperature range extends from 0 to +60 °C. Power (19–24 V or 12 V) is supplied via an 8-pin connector. It is possible to connect a cooling fan. Compatibility with Windows 10 and Ubuntu 22.04.2 (kernel 5.19.0) is stated. A TPM 2.0 module can be installed optionally.
