Paramount Confirms ‘Sonic 4’
Paramount Pictures has officially announced that it is developing a fourth installment of the Sonic the Hedgehog film franchise (Sonic The Movie 4). According to Variety, the premiere is scheduled for spring 2027, two years after the release of the third film.
Details of the upcoming film are currently under wraps, but the post-credits scene for Sonic the Hedgehog 3 (which leaked online a few days before the premiere) contains a teaser for a new character.
Analysts predict that Sonic the Hedgehog 3 will top the US box office with receipts of around $55-60 million from 3,800 theaters in North America. The film will be available in 52 territories around the world at release.
Fans are eagerly awaiting what adventures Sonic and his friends will surprise with in the future, and the creators continue to expand the popular hedgehog universe.
