The Next Version of the Lenovo Legion Go Portable Console to Get an OLED Screen

An image of the new version of the Lenovo Legion Go portable gaming console has leaked onto the Internet, shared by well-known insider Evan Blass.

The console’s form factor will remain the same. The device will be equipped with a large screen, removable controllers and a stand. But the design has been slightly redesigned. The new product looks more rounded. The console will be equipped with a convenient cross. Above the left stick, there will be two additional buttons, not one, like the first Legion Go. The touch panel will remain in place.

As for the specifications, this time Lenovo decided to use an OLED screen, but its dimensions have not changed – the same 8.8 inches with a resolution of 2560 × 1600 pixels. The refresh rate is not reported, but it is unlikely to be less than 120 Hz.

Inside, Lenovo Legion Go 2 will house an 8-core and 16-thread Ryzen Z2 Extreme (Strix Point) processor. The device will run on Windows 11.

The published images of the console do not have a Steam button, although there were rumors that the company was preparing a console with SteamOS support, which were confirmed by images of the console with such a button published by Blass on the X social network, which were subsequently removed.
