Honor Introduces X9c

Honor has introduced a relatively inexpensive smartphone with a huge battery – the X9c.

The device costs about $340, and for this money it can offer not only autonomy due to the 6600 mAh battery. For example, it has a shock-proof case. Of course, not like full-fledged protected devices with thick rubber and plastic inserts, but Honor says that the smartphone can withstand a fall from a height of up to 2 meters and temperature changes from -30 to 55 degrees. As for water protection, we are talking about the IP65M rating.

Honor X9c is based on the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset. The phone is equipped with a curved OLED display with a diagonal of 6.78 inches and a resolution of 1224 × 2700 pixels. The panel provides 10-bit color (8 + 2 bits) with a brightness of up to 4000 cd / m². PWM brightness control operates at a frequency of 3840 Hz. On the back panel there is a 108-megapixel camera with a 1 / 1.67 “sensor and an f / 1.75 lens with optical image stabilization. The camera supports 4K video recording and 3x digital zoom. Also on the back panel is an ultra-wide-angle 5-megapixel f / 2.2 camera. The 16-megapixel (f / 2.45) selfie module, located in an oblong cutout under the screen, allows you to record 1080p video.

The Honor X9c is already available in some regions. For example, in Malaysia, the 12GB RAM + 256GB storage configuration is priced at $345, while the 12GB RAM + 512GB storage model is priced at $390.
