Electronic Arts And Marvel Have Officially Announced Black Panther Game

EA is developing a Black Panther game, and they’ve created an entirely new studio for it. The new studio, Cliffhanger Games, has some of the veterans of Monolith Productions in its composition.

In a press release, EA stated: “We have created a completely new world in which the main character will protect Wikanda. We pay special attention not only to the plot, but also to the smallest details. To make the game more memorable, we select the most highly qualified developers who are not afraid of experimentation.”

The backbone of the studio includes veteran developers of such games as Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor, Halo Infinite, God of War, Call of Duty.

The plans are to build a vast and dynamic world that will allow players to experience what it is like to take on the mantle of the protector of Wakanda, the Black Panther. It is noteworthy that the project is still at a very early stage of development and the studio only plans to recruit additional people to the staff in order to actively begin work on the project.  Neither any serious details nor the release window have yet been reported.
