Koreans Bought Up The First Batch Of Samsung Galaxy Z TriFold Smartphones In A Few Minutes

Samsung has launched sales of the Galaxy Z TriFold foldable smartphone in its home market, and demand for the new product has been significantly higher than expected. According to the company, all available units sold out within minutes of their arrival at 20 Samsung stores.
The smartphone is powered by a Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, 16 GB of RAM, and storage options of 512 GB or 1 TB. It supports 5G cellular connectivity, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, UWB, and NFC. It also features a nano-SIM card slot and a USB 3.2 Type-C port. eSIM is also supported.
The Galaxy Z TriFold features a 10-inch Dynamic LTPO AMOLED inner display with a resolution of 2160 x 1584 pixels and a peak brightness of 1600 cd/m², as well as a 6.5-inch FHD+ Dynamic LTPO AMOLED outer display with a resolution of 2520 x 1080 pixels and a peak brightness of 2600 cd/m². Both displays support variable refresh rates from 1 to 120 Hz.

The Galaxy Z TriFold has a 5600 mAh battery with support for 45W fast charging.
The smartphone has two 10-megapixel front cameras (for the outer and foldable screens), a 200-megapixel main camera with optical image stabilization (OIS), a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera with autofocus, and a 10-megapixel telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom and OIS.
The company hasn’t specified when the device will be back in stock, but has opened registration for stock restock notifications. The Galaxy Z TriFold will also launch in international markets, including the US, in the coming weeks.
