Horror Game “Layers of Fear: Final Masterpiece Edition” To Be Released On Nintendo Switch 2 On December 19

The remastered version of Layers of Fear, the Final Masterpiece Edition, will arrive on Nintendo Switch 2 on December 19. The announcement was made in a new trailer showcasing the horror game’s locations and story sequences on the hybrid console.
This collection includes remastered versions of Layers of Fear and Layers of Fear 2, additional story chapters for both games, and all previously released content. A trailer released to mark the release date announcement also reveals that both projects support touch controls, HDR, and even ray tracing.
The Final Masterpiece Edition includes the stories of three characters: the Actor, the Artist, and the Writer. Each is obsessed with their devotion to art, leading to unpredictable consequences.
Layers of Fear: Final Masterpiece Edition will retail for $40. Overall, the horror game once again demonstrates Bloober Team’s interest in bringing its games to the Nintendo Switch 2. Cronos: The New Dawn was previously released on the hybrid console, selling over 500,000 copies across all platforms.
