Gears of War: Reloaded Remaster Gets Off to a Bad Start on Steam

The adventure shooter Gears of War: Reloaded, an updated version of the iconic first part, was released on August 26, but its start can hardly be called successful. The game received “mixed” reviews on Steam, and the peak online was the lowest among all games in the series on this platform.
In the first 24 hours after its release, Gears of War: Reloaded received over 600 “mixed” reviews on Steam — at the time of publication, the project’s rating on the Valve platform was only 49%. The authors of positive reviews are happy about the appearance of the first Gears of War on Steam, praising the improved graphics, optimization, and stability of the connection in multiplayer, and also hope for the release of remasters of the next parts.
Those who left negative feedback complain about crashes, critical bugs (like the inability to launch the game after changing the graphics), problems with working on ultra-wide monitors, unavailability of pre-order bonuses, and so on.
Gears of War: Reloaded is out now on PC (Steam, Microsoft Store), PS5, Xbox Series X|S and is available with a Game Pass subscription. The remaster supports 4K resolution, 60 frames per second in the campaign and 120 in multiplayer.
