Xiaomi Introduces Home Security Camera Smart Camera 4C 3.5K

Xiaomi has released an updated version of the Smart Camera 4C. One of the improvements of the new affordable security camera is an updated 6 MP sensor that can shoot video at a resolution of “3.5K”.
The updated version of the Smart Camera 4C 3.5K also has improved wireless support. In particular, the camera received a Wi-Fi 6 module with dual-band support, providing a more stable connection and better coverage compared to the previous model. This also contributes to a smoother preview of video recordings on mobile devices. Like most surveillance cameras on the market, the Xiaomi Smart Camera 4C 3.5K is able to recognize the presence of people and pets in the surveillance area. In addition, users can track any movement within the device’s field of view.
The camera, thanks to its rotating base, provides a 360° horizontal view and up to 116° vertical view. The device supports integration with cloud services and NAS storage, and is also equipped with a slot for microSD memory cards up to 256 GB.
This updated security camera is currently available for pre-order in China for CNY 199, which is around $28. While Xiaomi has yet to announce when it will be available globally, it may debut internationally as part of the C-series lineup.
