Infinix Note 50s 5G+ Smartphone to Get Built-in Fragrance Additive
Infinix is one of those companies that have launched special solutions in the past, such as a device that can change the color of a smartphone (including thanks to artificial intelligence), or a solar charging system for a phone, which was presented at Mobile World Congress 2025.
In the last few hours, news has emerged about the imminent launch of a new Infinix smartphone in India, which will emit a light fragrance.
The main feature of the Infinix Note 50s 5G+ will be the scent-tech technology, which involves embedding microcapsules with a special active substance into the back panel of the smartphone with an artificial leather coating. The molecules of the substance are released over time, emitting a light, refreshing scent. The subtle aroma will not cause discomfort and will last for six months. Although its intensity and duration directly depend on the way the phone is used and environmental conditions such as temperature and humidity.
There is no information at the moment on whether the Infinix Note 50s 5G+ will be sold outside India. The Indian market launch is scheduled for April 18, and we will probably learn more about the manufacturer’s plans on that day.
