Xiaomi Officially Introduced the HyperOS

Today, during the presentation of Xiaomi 14 smartphones and Watch S3 watches, they officially presented the latest HyperOS operating system, which was announced last week. It will completely replace MIUI.

Xiaomi HyperOS is not just an interface add-on, as MIUI was, but a full-fledged software platform. The size of the firmware for the mobile phone is only 8.75 GB, which the developer said makes it “the smallest in the industry.” The company has optimized system performance, outpacing the capabilities of Android on fast devices – they have become even faster.

Xiaomi HyperOS comes with a suite of integrated large artificial intelligence language models. They will, in particular, help compose texts;  capture documents and recognize them for office applications;  turn sketches into beautiful images;  search for images by descriptions;  use the resources of neural processors to increase efficiency and security without connecting the cloud.

The most important innovation is Xiaomi HyperConnect technology – it is responsible for the dynamic interconnection of devices in real time. Devices are combined into a network, the organization of which is configured in a single center with the ability to set priorities in accordance with the user’s status.

Xiaomi 14 smartphones will be the first to receive HyperOS. Other devices will begin to be updated in the first quarter of 2024.
