Xiaomi Introduces Compact Photo Printer Mijia Pocket Photo Printer Pro
Xiaomi has announced a new portable photo printer, the Mijia Pocket Photo Printer Pro. It is used for instant photo printing with the ability to add effects, such as augmented reality video or voice recordings.
The Mijia Pocket Photo Printer Pro uses dye-sublimation printing technology to produce high-definition prints that are more fade-resistant than inkjet printing. The printer supports printing JPG and PNG files at a resolution of up to 313×313 dpi, and provides a wide color gamut and 256 levels of grayscale, creating smooth color gradients and rich, detailed images. Printed photos are laminated to protect against scratches, moisture, and fading. The printer supports 2×3-inch (50×76 mm) photo paper. It takes about one minute to print one photo. The tray holds up to 10 sheets of regular photo paper or 5 sheets of photo paper with an adhesive backing.
The printer is equipped with a Bluetooth 5.2 module that supports simultaneous connection of multiple devices. Power is provided by a lithium-ion battery with a capacity of 880 mAh, and charging is done via a USB Type-C port.
The photo printer is now available for pre-order in China for around $83, with official sales starting on June 16.
