Xiaomi Introduced Redmi Buds 5 Pro
Xiaomi, alongside with the Redmi K70, K70 Pro and K70E smartphones, presented new advanced fully wireless (TWS) headphones Redmi Buds 5 Pro at an event in China today.
The Redmi Buds 5 Pro uses a combination of 10mm dynamic drivers with ceramic coating and 11mm woofers with titanium coating. The headphones received an active noise reduction system that filters external sounds with a volume of up to 52 dBA and a range of 4 kHz. For lossless audio transmission, Redmi Buds 5 Pro supports LHDC 5.0 and LHDC Lossless audio codecs. Support for AI algorithms that improve sound is also announced. There is support for the Bluetooth 5.3 protocol (Bluetooth Low Energy / HFP / A2DP / AVRCP), and also has a low latency mode of 49 ms.
The Redmi Buds 5 Pro case is splash-proof according to the IP54 standard. The headphones can work for 10 hours without recharging. The case allows you to charge them several times and increase the total operating time to 38 hours.
The cost of Redmi Buds 5 Pro is $55. The buds are available in black, blue and white colors. The company also introduced a model for $70, which has support for LHDC Lossless and latency reduced to 20 ms.
