Vivo Unveils Watch GT 2 With Up to 33 Days of Battery Life

Vivo unveiled the new Watch GT 2 smartwatch at a launch event in China, where it also showcased smartphones, a tablet, and a number of other devices. The new watch replaces the Watch 5 and retains its square screen.

The Vivo Watch GT 2 features a 2.07-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 432 x 514 pixels, a 60 Hz refresh rate, and a peak brightness of up to 2400 cd/m². The display is covered with 2.5D curved glass. The previous model featured a 1.85-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 450 x 350 pixels.

The smartwatch features an optical heart rate and blood oxygen sensor, an acceleration sensor, a gyroscope, a geomagnetic sensor, a Hall sensor, and a light sensor. It can monitor your heart rate 24/7, continuously determine your blood oxygen saturation, and track sleep, stress, and more.

The Vivo Watch GT 2 with Bluetooth features a 695 mAh battery, while the eSIM version has a 595 mAh battery. The Bluetooth version offers up to 33 days of battery life, while the eSIM version offers up to 8 days. Dimensions are 47.54 x 40.19 x 10.97 mm and weight is approximately 35.8 g. The watch supports NFC payments, GPS/GLONASS/GALILEO/Beidou.

The new device is currently only available in China, priced at approximately $70 for the base model and around $100 for the eSIM model. The company has not yet announced any plans for an international launch.
