Tesla’s Optimus Robot Shows Off Upgraded Arm

In the media sphere, Tesla Optimus humanoid robots are completely independent entities, since they have their own account on the pages of the company’s CEO on the social network X. It was this source that recently distributed a video demonstrating the new hand of this robot, with which it successively catches two tennis balls thrown to it.

The company showed off the new Optimus arms shortly after Musk’s company announced it had received FDA approval for a new project, code-named Convoy, that would use the N1 brain implant to control the limbs of a robot called Optimus. This would allow cross-registration between participants in the Convoy and Prime projects. In the Prime project, two volunteers were implanted with N1 chips that allow them to control electronic devices with their minds.
