The TCL brand has quietly unveiled a new smartphone, the TCL 60 Ultra Nxtpaper. The company has revealed the design and specifications of the device, but it is not yet available for purchase.

The TCL 60 Ultra NxtPaper features a 7.2-inch display with a resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. The panel supports the company’s NxtPaper technology, which allows it to imitate an E Ink display when you press a switch on the side of the device, making it a great option for reading. The screen also supports a digital pen. On the front side of the smartphone, there is a 32-megapixel selfie camera, like the TCL 60 XE NxtPaper.

The TCL 60 Ultra NxtPaper is based on the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 processor (four Cortex-A78 cores with a frequency of up to 2.6 GHz and four Cortex-A55 cores with a frequency of up to 2.0 GHz; integrated Mali-G615 MC2 graphics) and 12 GB of RAM. The device has 512 GB of internal memory and supports microSD cards. The main camera includes a 50-megapixel sensor, a 50-megapixel periscope camera with three-fold optical zoom and optical stabilization, as well as an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle module.

The smartphone has a 5200 mAh battery. The device is certified against dust and water penetration according to the IP68 standard.

According to insiders, the price of TCL 60 Ultra Nxtpaper will be ~$250.
