SpaceX Successfully Launched 23 Starlink Satellites Into Orbit

Once again demonstrating its activity, SpaceX successfully launched a new batch of 23 Starlink satellites into low-Earth orbit. The Falcon 9 rocket launched at 8:53 a.m. Eastern Time from Launch Pad 40 at Cape Canaveral in Florida.

The first stage of the Falcon 9 launch vehicle returned back to Earth approximately 8 minutes after liftoff, making a soft, controlled landing on SpaceX’s unmanned offshore platform A Shortfall of Gravitas in the Atlantic Ocean.

As the SpaceX team notes, this was already the fifteenth launch for this particular stage. In nine of the previous fourteen, it was also used to launch Starlink satellites.

The Falcon 9 upper stage carried 23 Starlink satellites into low Earth orbit and deployed them there approximately 65 minutes after liftoff. The latest launch was the 49th for SpaceX since the beginning of 2024
