Silo’ Teaser Reveals Apple’s Latest Post-Apocalyptic Drama

The network has the first trailer for the post-apocalyptic series Silo. The show will be an adaptation of novels by writer Hugh Howey.

The project is based on the book series of the same name by Hugh Howey. According to the plot, in the near future, the surviving people live in a huge bunker 144 floors deep. The heroes believe that the world is dead, the air outside is poisoned, and going to the surface is deadly. They resignedly obey the established rules, the main of which is not to seek to leave the bunker.

The series stars Rebecca Ferguson (“Dune”), David Oyelowo (“Selma”), rapper Common, Rashida Jones (“Parks and Recreation”) and Oscar winner Tim Robbins (“Mystic River”). Written and Showrunner by Graham Yost (Justice);  the first three episodes were directed by Morten Tyldum (“The Imitation Game”).
