SanDisk has released its smallest USB Type-C flash drive with a capacity of up to 1 TB. The drive, called the SanDisk Extreme Fit, is now available in some countries, with the larger version priced at $119.99.
The SanDisk Extreme Fit USB-C supports the USB 3.2 Gen 1 interface and delivers read speeds of up to 400 MB/s. This is sufficient for quickly transferring photos, videos, and documents. However, the company notes that the flash drive does not support high-bitrate video recording (for example, ProRes 4K @ 120 fps on iPhone).

The drive is compatible with devices running Windows 10/11, macOS (version 12 and later), and iOS/iPadOS (version 15 or later). The Zone app for Windows and Mac helps you manage files, create backups, and clean up your device’s memory.
SanDisk Extreme Fit is available in 64GB, 128GB, 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB capacities with a five-year warranty.
