Samsung Galaxy S25 Smartphones to Be Announced on January 22
After a string of leaks and rumors, official information regarding new Samsung smartphones has become available. The company announced that it will hold the next Galaxy Unpacked event on January 22, 2025, in San Jose, California. The flagship Galaxy S25 series will debut there.
The presence of rounded corners on all four smartphones confirms the assumption that the flagship Galaxy S25 Ultra will abandon the angular design of its predecessor. In addition to the Galaxy S25 and Galaxy S25+, which will differ mainly in display size and battery capacity, Samsung is going to introduce a completely new Galaxy S25 Slim, which is rumored to have a 6.66-inch display and a 5000 mAh battery. The smartphone will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite processor and will be equipped with a camera unit combining a 200-megapixel main sensor with two 50-megapixel (ultra-wide and telephoto lenses). It is possible that in order to reduce the thickness of the case, the Galaxy S25 Slim will lose the wireless charging function.
There are still about two weeks left until the official announcement of the Galaxy S25 series, so more information about these devices is expected to emerge in the coming days.
